Sponsored by Coral Academy and led by Captain Sama Ghazi, the first diving forum was held in Yanbu Governorate, in a unique initiative aimed at introducing the sport of diving and spreading its culture, especially among women, as part of the Academy's efforts to expand the base of participants in marine activities and enhance the presence of Saudi women in this field.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The forum witnessed a remarkable attendance of women interested in marine sports, and included a number of awareness-raising events and training workshops, with the participation of a group of qualified Saudi women trainers in the field of diving.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Captain Sama Ghazi, leader of the forum, explained that this initiative represents an important step towards empowering women in the sport of diving and providing a safe and stimulating environment to engage in this type of fun marine activities, stressing the importance of breaking social barriers and presenting diving as a sports and recreational option available to all.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The forum included:
- Introductory lectures on scuba diving and equipment.
- Visual representations of diving experiences in Yanbu's coasts.
- Initial diving experiences in a safe training environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event is the beginning of upcoming initiatives aimed at raising awareness of scuba diving among women and opening new horizons for them to participate in this field on a local and national level, in line with the Kingdom's directives to support marine activities and develop coastal tourism.<\/strong><\/p>\n
