HRH Prince Saud bin Khalid Al Faisal visits Coral Academy and praises its efforts in developing maritime activities

On Saturday, 11 June 2022, Coral Academy was honoured with a visit from HRH Prince Saud bin Khalid Al Faisal, in a move that reflects the wise leadership's interest in promoting maritime and sports activities and supporting national competencies working in this field.

His Highness was welcomed by the Academy's management and staff, who briefed His Highness on the Academy's programmes, diving training services, and recreational and educational marine activities that seek to promote marine culture in the community, especially among youth and women.

HH The Amir also toured the Academy's facilities, including training halls, certified diving equipment, and the equipment used to qualify trainees according to the highest safety and quality standards.

During the visit, the most prominent challenges and difficulties facing scuba diving in Yanbu Governorate were presented, mainly the lack of a dedicated beach for diving training, which is an obstacle to the continuation and expansion of training programmes to meet the growing demand for this activity. The importance of allocating a suitable and safe training site was stressed, which contributes to supporting the Academy's programmes and developing the skills of trainees of both sexes.

His Royal Highness expressed his admiration for the professional level reached by the Academy, praising the efforts of the administrative and training team and their role in supporting maritime tourism in the Kingdom, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
